Data protection

For Malawi launch planning, lyfvault should be operated consistently with the Data Protection Act, 2024, including lawful processing, minimization, storage limitation, security safeguards, data subject rights, breach handling, and any controller or processor registration requirements that apply.

Cross-border processing

If Malawi user data or workflow metadata is processed outside Malawi, lyfvault should confirm that adequate transfer protections and legal bases are in place before launch.

Electronic trust and signature claims

lyfvault should not be described as a licensed certification authority, statutory trust service, or legally conclusive digital-signature provider unless separately authorized under applicable Malawi law.

Recovery and inheritance

For Malawi-linked estates, inactivity can begin review but should not be treated as proof of death or legal entitlement. Final release should require appropriate documentary evidence such as probate, letters of administration, executor appointment, trustee authority, or court-recognized documentation where applicable.

Production privacy materials should include the Malawi Data Protection Authority complaint path and contact details where required.
